Abstract 1: China, like many others, will be impacted by extreme weather events, sea-level rise and affected agricultural production. The goal of carbon neutrality is strategic for China to promote a greener and lower-carbon domestic economic system. Therefore, Xi Jinping announced reaching to carbon neutrality before 2060. In line with this goal, this talk, will present the impact of low temperature fuel cells, in particular ammonia fuel cell as a way to overcome this challenge. It involves substantial discussion on novel nanoparticulated catalysts, their preparation and functionality on the systems.


Abstract 2: World leading countries have launched a series of policy and actions to overcome the environmental pullulation issues. Such as China’s 2060 Carbon Neutrality Target and UK’s Net Zero Strategy to boost the development of renewable energy and carbon dioxide capture and utilisation etc. technologies. This presentation will discuss mass transport issues for carbon dioxide capture and electrolysis for producing value-added chemicals with low energy consumption using electrochemical method. Novel catalysts, electrode and cell configurations will be presented.
